About Evan Doyle (that’s me!) 👋🏼
Hi, I’m a Curator of Good.
My journey into the world of pastoring began in 2000 when I joined my first volunteer team and then later became a staff member in 2003. Over the years, I’ve served in almost as many roles as exist within a church, from youth leader to youth pastor, connections pastor, small groups pastor, campus pastor, and executive pastor. I’ve worked at a small church (the one I planted with 30 members), a 200-member church (campus pastor), and a large church with 2000+ members (other roles).
I’m also the founder of Brighten Idea Group for Churches (dailychristianhelp.com) and the creator at Evan Doyle Thinks YouTube channel. My work has reached a broad audience, with writings featured in Truity, Catalyst, Creative Results Management (churchleader,) and The Christian Post, focusing on leadership, people development, teamwork, and conflict resolution.
Being involved in church life for 20+ years and pastoring for 18 years, I’ve experienced the insecurities, struggles, wins and losses, ups and downs, and scrambles to figure out how to pastor effectively when I had no idea what I was doing.
